Skipper targets Rs.3, 700-crore turnover by FY19

Skipper, a city-based player in power transmission and PVC pipe segments, is eyeing a top-line of Rs 3,700 crore by financial year 2018-19, a company official has said. "At present, our revenue is Rs 1,165 crore and we are aiming to reach Rs 3,700 crore by the end of 2018-19", Skipper Director Sharan Bansal said. Listed on the BSE, Skipper has an order book of Rs 2,200 crore.

The current order book is sufficient to fully utilise the capacity for next two years, Bansal told reporters here today.

With three manufacturing plants in West Bengal, Skipper gets orders for transmission towers and poles from Power Grid and other transmission companies. On company's revenue, Bansal said over time it will be evenly distributed between domestic sales and exports.
