Skipper is executing the 500 kV HVDC Overhead Transmission Line project for the interconnection link in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Saudi Electricity Company, covering material supply, prototype manufacturing, and testing based on customer-supplied drawings. The project, awarded on 16 April 2025 and currently ongoing, involves sixteen towers ranging from 100 to 280 tons. With SEC handling multiple interconnection projects under extremely tight timelines, Skipper has distinguished itself as the only testing station capable of delivering prototype manufacturing and testing within an impressive 6–10 weeks from drawing release, a capability highly valued by the customer.
