Skipper undertook the Prototype Tower and Tower Load Test project for a 500kV standard tower in Malaysia for Sarawak Energy Berhad, covering material supply, prototype manufacturing, and testing based on customer-provided drawings. The scope involved two towers, with the project awarded on 28 July 2021 and successfully completed by 15 October 2021. Although the client had allotted 24 weeks, Skipper impressively delivered the entire project in just 11 weeks, earning strong appreciation from the end customer. In recognition of this exceptional performance, Skipper was honoured with the Best International Consultant award for 2021.
