The project incorporates a new Hermosa 500kV substation, aiming to enhance voltage regulation and power transfer efficiency in the region.
This infrastructure upgrade ensures stable power quality and smooth electricity flow, providing benefits to consumers and industries reliant on a consistent power supply. Throughout the project's implementation, Skipper Limited emerged as a crucial contributor, supplying 7,392.13 metric tons of various 500kV towers. Notably, amidst the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Skipper Limited also conducted load testing for two new tower types for the project. The towers were designed for wind-speed of 300 Kmph , and to withstand typhoon conditions.
